A group of
non-uniform exponential growth

I will present a group of non-uniform exponential growth locally
isomorphic to the iterated monodromy group of z^2+i. It is an extension
of the infinite power of Z_4 by the Grigorchuk-Erschler group of
intermediate growth and it belongs to the uncountable family of groups
related to iterations of a self-map of the 2-dimensional complex
projective plane.
