MacMahon's Master Theorem and its generalizations

MacMahon's Master Theorem is a classical combinatorial result
celebrated by its applications to binomial identities. In this talk I
will present an algebraic and a direct bijective proof of the theorem.
I will then discuss various non-commutative generalizations and how
they fit together.
