Self-similar Lie algebras

We consider examples of self-similar Lie algebras and discuss their
properties.The examples were recently constructed by the author,
Shestakov, and Zelmanov.
In particular, we consider finitely generated restricted Lie algebras
of polynomial growth with nil p-mapping.
By their properties, these restricted Lie algebras are natural
analogues of
the Grigorchuk group in the world of Lie algebras.
