Reservations
We will make room reservations for you and send you the confirmation. The room rate is $56/night (two double beds) for single or double occupancy, plus 13% occupancy tax. A limited blocks of rooms have been reserved for Friday night (October 29, 2004) and Saturday night (October 30, 2004). All conference participants (regardless of support) are requested to fill out our registration form. Persons planning to stay in a hotel room should indicate their room preferences on the registration form. After October 22, 2004, hotel rooms will be reserved on a space available basis.
Lodging
We will make reservations for you. Participants will be staying at the LaQuinta Inn-College Station, 607 Texas Avenue South, at the corner of Texas Avenue and Live Oak Street, just south of the intersection of Texas Avenue and University Drive.The LaQuinta is on the east side of Texas Avenue, behind Denny's Restaurant. We will make room reservations for you and send you confirmation, whether or not you are planning to apply for support.
If you wish to apply for support, please request support on the
registration form. If your request for
support is approved, we will pay your hotel bill (nightly rate and applicable
taxes) directly. We will make your hotel reservation for you, and send
you confirmation. Supported participants must inform conference organizers
of cancellation or modification of reservation by noon on Friday, October
29, 2004 to avoid liability for one night's room rate.
If you are not planning to apply for support, then we will make your hotel reservation for you, and send you confirmation. Non-supported participants must provide the hotel (phone numbers will be included with confirmation information) with a personal credit card number to guarantee the room if arriving after 6 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2004.
