Reservations
We will make room reservations for you and send you the confirmation. The room rate is $53.99/night (two double beds) for single or double occupancy, plus 13% occupancy tax. A limited blocks of rooms have been reserved for Friday night (October 19, 2007) and Saturday night (October 20, 2007). All conference participants (regardless of support) are requested to fill out our registration form. Persons planning to stay in a hotel room should indicate their room preferences on the registration form. After September 19, 2007, hotel rooms will be reserved on a space available basis. It is recommended that you reserve your hotel room by this deadline as there are several events in the area on that day.
Lodging
We will make reservations for you. Participants will be staying at the Super 8 Hotel, 301 Texas Avenue South, at the corner of Texas Avenue and Cooner Street, just north of the intersection of Texas Avenue and University Drive. Driving directions are available here.
Lodging Support
We will make room reservations for you and send you confirmation, whether or not you are planning to apply for support.
If you wish to apply for support, please request support on the registration form. If your request for support is approved, we will pay your hotel bill (nightly rate and applicable taxes) directly. We will make your hotel reservation for you, and send you confirmation. Supported participants must inform conference organizers of cancellation or modification of reservation by noon on Friday, October 12, 2007 to avoid liability for one night's room rate.
If you are not planning to apply for support, then we will make your hotel reservation for you, and send you confirmation. Non-supported participants must provide the hotel (phone numbers will be included with confirmation information) with a personal credit card number to guarantee the room.
