Fundamental theory of analytic functions, including residues and their applications. Prerequisites: MATH 221 or equivalent
The required textbook is Complex Variables and Applications by Churchill, 6th Edition, published by McGraw Hill.
Course grades will be determined by three inclass tests (25% each), and homeworks (25%). You may collaborate with other students on the homework.
Furthermore there will be a comprehensive final, which can (if score is higher) replace the lowest test grade. The participation at the final is voluntary.
