Gradings. Course grades will be based on homeworks, which will be announced every two to three weeks.

Scope: This is the first of a sequence of two Functional Analysis courses, the first concentrating on Banch spaces, the second on Operator Theory. After these two courses several more specialized topics courses will follow which will lead you right into current research in the different areas of Functional Analysis.
