Upscaling/multiscale methods for partial differential
equations and applications to porous media flows.

Synopsis: The course will cover
analytical and numerical techniques for
multiscale problems. Homogenization methods and their applications
to numerical simulations of multiscale problems will be discussed.
Various finite element/volume based numerical homogenization/multiscale
methods
as well as multiscale numerical methods for problems without scale
separation
will be covered in this course.
