General Calculator Restrictions

Because of recent cases of scholastic dishonesty among those using calculators in math classes, restrictions must be placed on their use for all exams, including the final. All non-graphing, non-programmable calculators will be allowed. Of the graphing calculators: TI-83, TI-84, TI-83 Plus, or TI-84 Plus graphing calculators are preferred. Other graphing calculators require prior permission. TI-89 and TI-92 calculators will not be allowed.

All programs and/or games must be deleted (not just emptied or archived with an asterisk in front of the name) before you arrive for the exam.  The only exception to this rule is the programs that I give out for use in class.  All calculators will be checked, and these restrictions will be enforced.  Failure to comply with these rules will result in loss of calculator privileges on this and future exams.

If you have the program TI-Graph Link and a link cable, programs and games can be downloaded to a computer before they are deleted so they won't be lost.   Graph Link software can be downloaded from the web from the Texas Instruments web site at http://education.ti.com/us/product/accessory/connectivity/down/download.html.
