pages long, joint with Sheng-Chi Liu. This note gives a natural
generalization of Iwaniec's convexity bound for the Rankin-Selberg
convolution of two Maass forms. Xiannan Li has given a simpler
proof with a different flavor.
Moments of the distribution function of a lacunary Fourier series and the Gaussian normal distribution,
9 pages, joint with Dennis Hejhal. This was my undergraduate
senior thesis advised by Hejhal. I typed it in Microsoft Word
because I didn't know about tex at the time.
