David Manuel. Preparing Graduate Students for the Classroom
In 2014, David became the Director of TA Training for the Department of Mathematics at Texas A&M. David will summarize the training which graduate students receive from the time they begin their PhD program to their final search for jobs in academia as graduation approaches. He will also discuss the impact the program has had on the department, how the program has evolved over the past five years, and his vision for preparing graduate students to teach in the 21st Century Classroom.
