Mini-symposium

We welcome mini-symposium proposals here. Each mini-symposium will consist of one or multiple sessions of 4 talks each. We are expecting to have 30-35 minute contributions (including questions).

Contribution talks

We will not have contributed talks outside of mini-symposiums. However, interested participants are welcome to send a title and abstract to siamtxla2020@math.tamu.edu for possible inclusion in an existing mini-symposium if appropriate and possible. The list of accepted mini-symposiums will be published on this website by Sept. 1st.

E-Poster Sessions schedule

We welcome individual submissions of posters (single page PDF format) here. Along with the poster, we offer the possibility to suplement the poster with a 2 min explanative video. During the conference each poster presenter will have a breakroom allocated for visitor to ask live questions.

Prizes will be awarded to the best posters.

Undergraduate and Graduate Events

In addition to the e-poster sessions and the public talk, we are planning to have the following events for undergraduate and graduate students.

Career Panels

We are planing to organize career panels with representatives from acedemia, industry and national laboratories.

A special session will be dedicated to the presentation of different graduate schools along with a Q&A time with the respective graduate advisors.
