This meeting will focus on the areas of mathematics developed by Carl Pearcy, who is turning 80 this year, and aims to promote connections between several different themes in operator theory which have been driving recent progress in the subject. Topics will include quasidiagonality, commutators of operators, and invariant subspaces.
