| Title: | Invariant-domain approximation of systems of nonlinear conservation equations |
| Abstract: | The talk will be targeted to a general audience. In the first part of
the talk I will review elementary notions about nonlinear hyperbolic
systems and I will give a broad overview of the current state of the
art on the well-posedness and on the approximation theory of these
systems. In the second half of the talk I will briefly describe a
method that is invariant-domain preserving for every hyperbolic
systems. |
