About Me

I am a first year graduate student at Texas A&M University. My personal hobbies and interests are primarily composed of music and running. During my time as an undergraduate at Albion College, I competed on the XC&TF teams and primarily focused on the 5,000m. My time as a runner did not conclude with my time at Albion and I went on to coach the CMU Running Club and run workouts with the women's varsity track team while working toward my graduate degree at Central Michigan University. In the spring of 2018, I set and continue to hold the CMU Running Club record for the 5,000m with a time of 15:20. In the fall of 2018, I led the men of the CMU Running Club to the team's first NIRCA national team qualification. My time at CMU is over but I continue to run on my own in College Station and the surrounding towns/cities. My travels are not very extensive yet but I did spend the spring of 2016 in Budapest with the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program and I greatly enjoy discussing my experiences from that brief adventure. My time in Budapest proved to be fruitful in that I developed an interest in number theory that continues today. For those who don't already know, I enjoy cats greatly.
