Subject: Forget the deadline

Dear Members of the Acceleration Radiation Community:

Great news!  By agreement with MDPI, our "special issue" has been 
reordained as a "topical collection".  What this means, most importantly, 
is that there is no longer a deadline for submission of articles.  So, if 
you gave up because you have no hope of finishing a paper by March 31, 
you're not off the hook.  Keep working.

We have one article already published and two that have just now received 
final approval.  Two other groups of authors have informally told me that 
they are at work on things.  So, submissions have been slow but are 
exponentially increasing as the old deadline nears.

I hope that the burdens of an academic year will soon lift so that the 
discussion list can return to its level of activity of last summer.
