Statistics

Before any statistics can be computed, the data must be entered into the Lists

• If the data is a single list of number then place it into L₁

• If the data is a frequency or a probability distribution, then place the data values(x-values) in L₁ and the frequency(or probability) in L₂

Computing mean, median, and standard deviation:

• Press and then
• Choose 1-Var Stats
• If the data is not a single list then you must indicate which lists holds the information.
  • Press
    This tell the calculator that the data is in L₁ with frequency/probability in L₂. The screen will look like this.
