The Gathering in Graduate Expository Mathematics (aka GIG'EM) is a graduate expository conference specifically geared for graduate students. The aim of the meeting is to broaden horizons and familiarize everyone with what other students in the department are interested in, at an accessible level. All speakers are other graduate students.
The meeting is committed to upholding the policies of Texas A&M and is open to everyone regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, pregnancy, or immigration status.
GIG'EM is supported by the American Mathematical Society and Texas A&M University.
