You might want to remember that at the end of the semester the two lowest quiz parts will be dropped when calculating the quiz average. As well, each extra credit practice exam you've completed will add the equivalent of one quiz part to your final grade (approximately 1% per extra credit exam).

Exams and Quizzes

We will have one quiz every Monday morning which consists of two parts: a 10 minute in class portion (Part A) as well as a take home portion (Part B) which will be due at the beginning of class on Wednesdays. Only the exams/quizzes which have already been handed in and/or graded will have working links, the rest are here so you know the schedule.

Additional Resources

Math Learning Center (MLC): The Math Learning Center has many free resources available to all Math 141 students. You may see all that they offer at: http://mlc.tamu.edu/.

Week-in-Review (WIR): These sessions are weekly lectures that give a concise overview of the material covered in the course during the prior week. The WIRs help you to synthesize and assimilate the material taught during class. This semester, the WIRs are held in Adams Band Hall on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm. You may confirm the weekly schedule here.

Help Sessions: Help sessions are an opportunity for you to ask questions and get help with your homework (either individually or in groups), and you are able to feely check-in and walk out as your schedule allows. Help sessions are available from 7:30-9:00pm on Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs in Blocker 121, and available from 10:00am-12:00pm on Wed/Fri in Adams Band Hall. You may find the current help session schedule here.

Office Hours: As stated above, I have weekly office hours where you can come ask questions about the material. I am available at other times via appointment for help, discussion of your performance in class, or authorized make-up exams; email me to arrange for any of these.
