Software

1. Downloading and installing PuTTY and WinSCP. PuTTY is a terminal program that allows connection to unix machines using secure shell (SSH). WinSCP is a program that allows file transfers to and from unix machines, using secure FTP.
2. Download NX software. NX is a xwindows client that allows you to connect to remote Unix servers and run graphics applications - such as Matlab.
