Letter
Poor attitude

I was appalled to read about The Peninsula's reaction to a guest breastfeeding discreetly in its hotel (letter headlined, "Breastfeeding incident mars happy day," South China Morning Post, May 4).

The Peninsula calls itself one of the leading hotels of the world. This statement cannot be applied to its attitude or its customer care in this case.

Breastfeeding is a perfectly natural and normal thing to do, it is not a peepshow.

Will The Peninsula please explain what it found so offensive?
