The 2011 and 2009 Texas Biennial Budgets have severely cut support 
for Texas A&M University. (This has been well-documented in many  
newspapers.) As a result, our mathematics department  
has had to implement numerous cost-cutting measures. Most faculty (myself 
included), decided that giving up their office phones would be one of
