Math 300 Writing Assignment 5
due Thursday 10/31/2019
The goal of this assignment is to revise and proofread your
draft (based on peer's feedback).
-
Step 1:
Revise the whole draft acting on your peer's responces. Find what FITS
and what doesn't. ADD to develop clarity. CUT what doesn't help.
'' Remember,
that as a writer, you are trying to COMMUNICATE with your readers, and
this means taking seriously the problems they identify. Of course, it
is up to YOU to decide which responses are appropriate, but even
inappropriate criticism sometimes sets off a train of thought that
leads to good ideas for revision.'' [1]
-
-
Step 3: Print out your new draft and bring
all three drafts (the new one and two copies of the previous one
with peer's comments and student editor worksheets) to class on Thursday, 10/31, and give them back to your instructor.
- Step 4: Upload your draft to Turnitin via eCampus.
Note that if no
revision done, 15 points will be taken off from the final term paper grade.
