Required rules and disclaimers


MAKE-UP POLICY: Make-ups for missed relevant material are possible im most circumstances. Wherever possible, students should inform Sottile as soon as they know this option may need to be exercised. Allowable circumstances include those indicated in Stusdent Rule 7.

SCHOLASTIC DISHONESTY: Copying work done by others, either in-class or out of class, is an act of scholastic dishonesty and will be prosecuted to the full extent allowed by University policy. Collaboration on assignments, either in-class or out-of-class, is forbidden unless permission to do so is granted by your instructor. COPYRIGHT POLICY: All printed materials disseminated in class or on the web are protected by Copyright laws. One xerox copy (or download from the web) is allowed for personal use. Multiple copies or sale of any of these materials is strictly prohibited.

ONLINE ETIQUETTE: When addressing a fellow student or the professor, politeness and good manners must be observed. Rude or immature behavior will not be accepted and will affect your final grade. This includes the use of improper language but also any abuse of the available online features, such as incessant posting or emailing. See Rule 21 regarding classroom behavior.
