The standard warning: Do not substitute particular numbers for variables until after differentiating. C. Give students time to prepare for the jigsaw. D. Start the jigsaw if time permits. (Audience = old team. If 2 people were on same team both times, may swap a member with an old team in the same position, or join an old team with only 3 members.) THEY HAD TIME TO DISCUSS ONE PROBLEM, I THINK. E. Identify especially troublesome problems that deserve the attention of the whole class.
