SCV Seminar
Several Complex Variables Seminar
This semester (Spring 2007) the seminar meets Fridays 3:00pm-3:50pm, in Milner
216.
Apr. 20: Andy Raich, Texas A & M
Techniques for Pointwise Estimates for a class of Heat Kernels in RxC, I
Abstract: I plan to (re)introduce a class of heat equations motivated by problems in several
complex variables. I will solve the heat equations and start to sketch the proof of pointwise
estimates for the associated heat kernels.
Apr. 27:
Andy Raich, Texas A & M
Techniques for Pointwise Estimates for a class of Heat Kernels in RxC, II
Abstract: I plan to continue the Apr. 20 talk and sketch a proof of pointwise upper bounds
for the heat kernel. I will also discuss cancellation conditions for the heat kernel.
May 4:
Andy Raich, Texas A & M
Techniques for Pointwise Estimates for a class of Heat Kernels in RxC, III
Abstract: I plan to continue the Apr. 27 talk and sketch a proof of pointwise upper bounds
for the derivatives of the heat kernel.
