The Gathering in Graduate Expository Mathematics (aka GIG'EM) is a graduate expository conference specifically geared for graduate students. The aim of the meeting is to broaden horizons and familiarize everyone with what other students in the department are interested in, at an accessible level. All speakers are other graduate students.
If you would like to give a 15-minute talk, please fill out the Google form with your name, title, and abstract. Examples of past talks can be found on the website for GIGEM 2018. We'll inform speakers by mid January. Slide talks are preferred.
The meeting is committed to upholding the policies of Texas A&M and is open to everyone regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, pregnancy, or immigration status.
GIG'EM is supported by the American Mathematical Society and Texas A&M University.
