The Noncommutative Geometry Festival will be held from Wednesday, April 30 to Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The Festival will be in honor of Henri Moscovici's 70th birthday. The goal of the Festival is to provide a forum for highlighting some of the most significant recent advances in noncommutative geometry, identifying promising new research directions, and immersing graduate students and postdocs in the most current research in the field. In particular, Alain Connes will be giving the inaugural Foiaş Lecture Series of the Department of Mathematics, Texas A&M University as part of the Festival.
The Festival is supported in part by the National Science Foundation and by Texas A&M University. Minorities, women, graduate students, postdocs, and early career mathematicians are especially encouraged to attend.
