Abstract
The presenter will introduce some math puzzles involving paper folding, will let you see that mathematical questions are plentiful in origami, and will show how to construct some exciting three-dimensional unit origami. If time permits, you might also learn how it is possible to solve some old famous problems using origami (trisection of an angle, for instance) that are known not to have straightedge and compass solution.
