In the last line on the page, capitalize “thus”.

In Problem 3(a), line 4, transpose the period and the closing right-hand parenthesis.

The last two sentences in the solution of Problem 7 might profitably be replaced by the observation that the \(f_n\) converge uniformly on the segment \(S\) to the constant \(L\) (which is of course an analytic function), so it follows from the conclusion of Vitali’s theorem that the \(f_n\) converge to \(L\) uniformly on compact subsets of the disk. This observation translates to the statement that \(f(z)\) converges to \(L\) uniformly as \(z\) approaches \(e^{i\theta}\) within any Stolz angle.
In the solution to Problem 8, line 5, the notation \(h(I-z_0)\) is confusing. The meaning is the product of the function \(h\) with the function \(I-z_0,\) that is, the function \(z\mapsto h(z)(z-z_0).\) A similar comment applies to the notation \(g(I-z_0)\) two lines later.
