Title: Some finite-like groups

Abstract: This talk will focus on infinite groups which share properties with finite groups, either in their actions on metric spaces (strongly bounded groups) or in their relationship to proper subgroups (Jonsson groups). Many such groups can be constructed using small cancellation and combinatorial set theory. There will be a historical review and exposition of recent results. Includes joint work with Saharon Shelah.
